Season’s Greetings and a Prosperous 2019!


The Council on Diagnostic Imaging is organized and operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes with the following objectives:

  • To bring together, for cooperation and coordination, all persons, interested in diagnostic imaging technology for chiropractic.
  • To collect and disseminate the best available information relating to both the practical and scientific of diagnostic imaging techniques.
  • To encourage and promote the advancement of diagnostic imaging to means of education, research public relations.
  • To promote the interest of the chiropractic practitioners in the subject of diagnostic imaging.

The Council on Diagnostic Imaging is charged to establish and maintain the American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR) and the American Chiropractic College of Infrared Imaging (ACCII).

The ACA Council on Diagnostic Imaging functions as a subordinate arm of the ACA, operating only with its specific delegated field. The Council must act pursuant to and in conformity with ACA policy.

 

OFFICERS 2018-2020

PRESIDENT: Bryan Hosler, DC, DACBR

Dr. Bryan Hosler is a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology and current President Council on Diagnostic Imaging. Board certified radiologist since 1992, Dr. Hosler is Chief Radiologist/private practice consultant-Diagnostic Imaging Consultants, as well as Staff Radiologist – ProScan Imaging/Reading Services, Fellowship trained in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, providing educational programs in diagnostic imaging with emphasis on special imaging.

 

 

 

 

VICE PRESIDENT: Susan M. Yazvac, DC, DACBR

Susan is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa and after a brief clinical practice, was accepted into the radiology residency program at Western States Chiropractic College under the mentorship of Dr. Appa Anderson. Susan received her diplomate in 1987 and practiced in Portland, Oregon at Outpatient Radiology Center, EPIC Imaging Centers (East, Downtown & West), and Body Imaging Center. She taught and practiced at Western States Chiropractic College, the Anglo-European Chiropractic College and is currently teaching at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida.

 

 

 

 

SECRETARY / TREASURER: Norbert Dombrowsky, DC, DACBR

N. Dombrowsky is a 1976 Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto, Canada. After eight years of clinical practice, he returned to complete his radiology diplomate. Bert received his diplomate status in 1992. Subsequently, he served as an Associate Professor of Radiology at Parker University in Dallas, Texas and supervisor of the radiology residency program. Presently, he is president of ProImaging, Inc. and is working towards his MRI credentialing.

 

 

 

 

PAST PRESIDENT: Brian Batenchuk, DC, DACBR

In 1993 Dr. Batenchuk obtained diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. He has applied this specialty certification to his professional endeavors in teaching, clinical practice and radiological consultation services. Currently Dr. Batenchuk is an Associate Professor in the clinical science department at National University in Florida . Previously, he held teaching assignments at other fine chiropractic institutions which included Palmer Chiropractic College in California, Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, Parker University in Dallas, Texas and Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Batenchuk is the immediate past president of the ACA Council on Diagnostic Imaging and is currently the president of Lakeview Radiological Services PC.
